Boston-Power, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Factory CIM Engineer to implement, manage, and secure all the required Factory systems required in the Chongqing Plant. Reporting directly to the Chongqing CIM Assistant Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for all factory and warehouse automation and control systems, including all PLC controlled equipment, material handling systems, and MES/SPC Solutions. You will have broad responsibility to architect a world-class manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities:
Factory Automation
• Responsible to manage MES equipment integration as well as the trouble shooting and issue management
• Responsible for MES test management, customer training
• Project management and System development/maintenance to realize customers IT requests.
• System development/maintenance to sustain user operation and support for enabling internal project.
• Role plays as the system consultant for supporting site operation support team to smooth business operation.
Department and Employee Support
• Enhance the end-users ease of use through appropriate training. Improve user satisfaction through better response, and training.
Project Management and Change Control
• Participate in Regional/Local projects relating to major Software, Hardware rollouts in BPI
• Deliver projects on time through proper planning, making use of the available resources meet the customer expectations with good quality towards customer satisfaction
Vendor Support
• Ensure all required hardware and software is current and maintained, under appropriate service contracts, and documented for business continuity
Information Back-up and Access Control
• Formal procedure for user access management for all factory and warehouse control systems
• Implement backup system & disaster recovery solutions for all factory and warehouse control systems.
Qualifications:
• BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field;
• At least 5 years working experience on software development
• Manufacture system design experience is preferred
• Maintenance of process documentation
• Identification and resolution of end user training needs.
• Able to work independently
• Fluent in Chinese as well as English written and verbal
• Strong teamwork and customer-service orientation required.
