Position Summary
In view of growth, we are currently looking to hire a Master Production Planner to join our team. The incumbent is critical in the planning and executing of the Plant and/or Contract Packers Master production schedule (Finished Goods). This role will remain customer focus and inventory balancing goals.
Accountabilities
Master Production Scheduling at product level – Receive/Process inter-plant orders; manage exception messages; plan and create appropriate transactions ensure the requirements flow to co-packers and 3rd party purchasers
Coordinate with source locations on product availability and communicate with the Deployment/Supply Planners on product availability/delivery schedules; Liaise with the shipping function as needed
Establish and execute Stock Transfer Orders for affiliate replenishment and Purchase Orders with 3rd party sourced products
Mitigate constrains/requests with the objective of meeting on time delivery with the necessary support functions
Responsible to develop and publish data to support S&OP plan for both local and regional review
Manage Supply – allocate FG to customers’ orders; plan/forecast inventory; ensure daily/weekly review process is in place to track forecast versus actual sales order status (including SLOBS management)
Support process for new product creations – Coordinate with plant finite schedulers to manage new product cycle plan and product phase in, phase out schedules
Validate and maintain integrity of information flow from ERP to the planning systems, as well as planning parameters
Support inventory goals, track and publish performance, while balancing the organization’s inventory and delivery objectives
Initiate/Support activities to continuously improve the business process, including regional projects
Required Skills and Experience
Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or related field
At least three (3) years of working experience in a PMC (production & material control) or planning role (covering inventory, material and/or production planning)
Experienced working in portable lighting related products industry is preferred however not essential
Experienced working in a multinational environment with cross-functional teams
Meticulous, independent and possesses initiative
Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
Able to communicate effectively in the English and Chinese language (written and verbal) with stakeholders and vendors
